Do you treat children and, if so, how do you help them feel comfortable? Absolutely, the general rule is between 18 and 24 months. Some children require a bit more time to be comfortable. If an area of concern is noticed, then the child should see a dentist as soon as possible. |

Personal Background
Dr. Melde is married and has four children. He has five dogs and three cats and his wife owns a pet resort. Dr. Melde comes from a family of nine children who are almost all associated with the medical or dental fields. He decided to become a dentist at the age of fifteen when he saw how his father was able to transform the lives of others in his dental practice.
